Fusing Sports, Streets, & Sleek Chic Aesthetics
The design of the Speedcat Ballerina has an open forefoot with an elastic strap closure, mimicking the classic ballet flat look. Its appeal are its heightened sole and multiple chic colour schemes. Speedcat Ballerina comes in the two-tone black and pink option as well as a statement silver colourway which is inspired by the metallic body of a F1 race car.
PUMA's own Speedcat series have been an iconic style that fuses the racing culture and street style for decades. The world first knew it as an ultra-slim driving shoe designed to shave milliseconds off lap times. Then it became a sleek streetwear staple seen on the streets of global fashion capitals.
Further enhancing its statement status is the use of IMEVA—PUMA's material for a lightweight and comfortable feel. Adding to that, utilising the style hallmark of the vibrant 1920s and the era’s rebellious flappers, PUMA interlaced the Mary Jane’s design DNA to come up with one of PUMA’s most iconic footwear designs that is the Speedcat Ballerina.
