Xiaomi proudly announces the launch of its latest foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi MIX Flip, in Malaysia. The Xiaomi MIX Flip stands out with powerful performance, long-lasting battery life, and enhanced network functionality, defying the common perception of flip phones as compromising on these features. Its sizable external display and seamless interactivity ensure users can perform most daily tasks without even opening the device.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip features a 4-inch All Around Liquid outer display with a quad-curved design for a smooth feel. The outer display offers 1.5K resolution, 460 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness, maintaining the same high-quality experience as the inner display. Xiaomi HyperOS reimagines the outer display features, making it a highly functional compact phone that supports over 200 popular apps, allowing users to handle communication, entertainment, health, and more.
The display also integrates with Xiaomi EV and Mi Home apps, offering control over smart home devices directly from the outer screen. The Xiaomi HyperMind AI learning centre enhances this experience by learning and automating smart home tasks. Additionally, the AI Input Assistant refines text creation, helping users generate or modify text as needed.
Powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the Xiaomi MIX Flip is one of the few compact foldable devices with an up-to-date flagship chipset. It features an advanced 3D cooling system with a 3500mm¹ VC area and a unique staircase design to quickly dissipate heat. Xiaomi’s Surge battery, with a capacity of 4780mAh, ensures long-lasting performance, while its self-healing properties allow the battery to maintain at least 80% capacity after 1600 charge cycles. The device also supports Wi-Fi 7, 5G-A, and global frequency bands, delivering top-tier connectivity.
Xiaomi MIX Flip uses an innovative dual dipole system for earpiece calls when open or closed, ensuring privacy and high-quality audio. It also includes an independent noise-cancelling microphone for clear calls, even when the device is closed.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip incorporates next-generation Leica Summilux lenses for stunning photography. The Light Fusion 800 high dynamic range sensor, coupled with a 47mm Leica floating telephoto lens, enables incredible shots with a minimum focusing distance of just 9cm. The Master Portrait mode, powered by Xiaomi’s AISP computational photography platform, captures realistic yet beautifully enhanced portraits.
With the large outer display and foldable design, the Xiaomi MIX Flip offers new possibilities in photography, including hover mode for group photos and time-lapse recording without the need for a tripod.
