A Samsung takeover is incoming! Samsung Malaysia recently unveiled the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) Samsung Galaxy Station on the MRT Kajang Line. This brand takeover marks Samsung's integration into the network of 29 stations along the TRX Station and Putrajaya line, serving more than 220,000 daily riders.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by representatives from Samsung Malaysia and Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp).
In attendance at the unveiling were:
- Denny Kim – President of Samsung Malaysia
- Elaine Soh – Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Malaysia
- Kevin Kim Tae Hoon – Business Director of Mobile eXperience of Samsung Malaysia
- Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim – Chief Executive Officer from MRT Corp.
- En Shahrul Fadli Omar – Chief Financial Officer from MRT Corp.
- Schrene Goh – Chief Commercial Officer from MRT Corp.
“The TRX MRT Station is a pivotal station within the MRT network, anchoring the TRX International Financial District and Kuala Lumpur's major retail destination. We are delighted to welcome Samsung Galaxy as our Station Naming Rights and Station Domination Advertising partner, resulting in the station's new name, TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT Station,” said Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim, CEO of MRT Corp.
The TRX Samsung Galaxy Station serves as the largest interchange station between the TRX station and Putrajaya Line, directly connecting commuters to The Exchange TRX, an experiential lifestyle destination at the heart of Tun Razak Exchange. Commuters will experience a seamless journey powered by Galaxy AI.
