PUMA and Manchester City have jointly unveiled the 2023/2024 Manchester City Away kit, a tribute to the city’s industrious spirit and its inhabitants.
Inspired by Manchester's rich history, this jersey features an all-over tonal graphic print reminiscent of the city’s archival waves pattern.
Accent colors pay homage to the city’s creative legacy, with gold flame highlights and a symbolic representation of the factory skyline on the inside neck. The design is made to represent two things - the team and its journey from local streets to global prominence.
Marco Mueller, PUMA's Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel, stated, "The jersey combines modern design elements with nods to the city itself, resulting in something that truly resonates with those that wear it."
The jersey incorporates innovative ULTRAWEAVE fabric for enhanced performance, dryCELL for long-lasting comfort, and both Authentic and Replica versions are made from 100% recycled materials, emphasizing sustainability.
Serena Gosling, Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail & Licensing, Manchester City, expressed her excitement over the launch of the kit. She is grateful for previous kits’ success and hopes that the new design will equally appeal to their fans.
In celebration of the kit’s launch, Octane and Fennec decals, PUMA-themed wheels, and a PUMA player banner will be featured in the famous sports action game Rocket LeagueRocket League from August 24th through September 5th.
The kit’s debut will be in Manchester City’s opening League game against Burnley FC on August 11th at 19:00 UTC.
