Xiaomi has officially kicked off its 2023 Xiaomi International Theme Competition, encouraging creative minds to contribute unique theme designs that reflect local cultures! The annual event will be held under the slogan "Global Expressions, Local Inspirations" and aims to entice designers from Xiaomi's diverse markets to generate themes inspired by local designs and motifs, thus enriching the user experience of Xiaomi patrons globally.
According to Chan Liu, the general manager at Xiaomi's International Internet Business Department, the International Theme Competition represents a crucial branding initiative for Xiaomi's international internet business and illustrates our dedication to developing a customized, enjoyable MIUI for everyone.
Alongside the competition's announcement, Xiaomi's IIB has released a series of videos spotlighting the designers behind its popular Themes feature. The videos underscore the collaborative spirit that underpins the Xiaomi Community and share stories of individual Xiaomi Themes designers.

Participation and Prizes
From July 28th to November 1st, anyone interested in participating in the 2023 International Theme Competition can submit their work via the competition website. The expert review and voting process will take place from November 1st to December 28th, after which winning designs will be announced and prizes awarded. The grand prize winner will receive a reward of USD 13,000. All competition themes will be available for download by users.
