World’s First Dedicated AI Chip on Gaming Laptops
Lenovo recently launched the Lenovo Artificial Intelligence (LA) AI chips in January 2023. It is the world's first dedicated AI chip on gaming laptops with the purpose of ensuring that you have the best system performance when you are playing high-demanding games.
The chip powers the Lenovo AI Engine+ and deploys a software machine-learning algorithm that will monitor your in-game framerates and automatically adjust to give you the highest performance output. Basically, it adapts to your system's needs to give you smooth-running gameplay.
Also, the Lenovo AI Engine+ runs a scenario-detection algorithm on the hardware engine and allocates wattage between the CPU and GPU which will optimize performance and help minimize fan noise. This can increase your FPS and offer a 15% higher TDP. The Lenovo AI Engine+ and LA AI chip combo make the newer Lenovo laptops deliver higher performance than their older generations.

Lenovo's new LOQ line has released laptop models in two sizes: 15 and 16 inches. You can choose the models based on your preference for Intel Processor (IR) or AMD Ryzen Processor (AP). The LOQ laptops have an NVIDIA G-SYNC where you will immerse yourself in the game with vibrant colours and crisp contrast. The laptops also have a quick refresh rate for smooth movements in-game.
The LOQ laptops come with NVIDIA GPUs that feature a MUX switch that enables you to bypass the Integrated GPU so you can get higher framerates and reduced latency for smoother gameplay and optimized battery life. Battery-wise, the LOQ 16-inch laptop has an 80Whr battery that gives you 7 hours of battery life while the LOQ 15-inch laptop has a 60Whr battery that gives you 6 hours of battery life.
If you would rather have a desktop, Lenovo will also release the Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRB8 which is a desktop PC with a 17L chassis and a blue accented 2D, matched with 3D striped patterns for better ventilation. The LOQ Tower allows up to the 13th Gen Intel Core i7 and even the latest NVIDIA 40-Series graphics for the competitive and even new gamers out there.
