TikTok is arguably one of the most popular social media platforms on the market right now. For the uninitiated, it's a short-form video streaming platform that has become a hub for easy-to-consume entertainment from a huge range of categories.
Previously just limited to mobile devices, TikTok is now coming into your living room through the TikTok TV app. Designed for larger screens, the TikTok TV app makes it easier for you to watch content with family and friends.
TikTok TV is now in Malaysia and available to download via Google TV, Samsung Smart TVs, LG devices, and other Android TV OS device. You can still sign in to your existing TikTok account on TikTok TV to get personalised content.
Despite being "designed for TV", though, the TikTok TV app still shows videos in portrait mode with separate "For You" and "Following" feeds, much like the mobile app. Basically, it's an enlarged version of the TikTok mobile app.
