IKEA Air Purifiers:
The STARKVIND air purifier, for example, has an air quality sensor that helps you monitor your living space's air quality and air purifiers to filter dust, pollen, and other allergens from the air. This is where the "smart home" part comes into the picture.
When you connect the STARKVIND air purifier to IKEA's DIRIGERA hub, you can fully control the device in IKEA Home smart app.
Once that's done, control everything from the app and leave the whole shebang alone. From the app, you can control the air purifier's fan speed, monitor air quality, lock it, or set an off-timer.
There's even a table with a built-in STARKVIND air purifier that offers a great balance between function and aesthetics.
IKEA Wi-Fi Speakers:
As for IKEA's sound range, the SYMFONISK Wi-Fi speakers are developed in collaboration with pioneering sound brand Sonos and can be connected through the Sonos app and Apple's Airplay 2.
These table lamps and bookshelf speakers are optimised to provide high-quality Wi-Fi sound. To achieve the best smart home experience possible, download the Sonos app, pair it with your SYMFONISK speaker, follow some simple steps, and you're good to go.
With the mobile app comes convenience. You can adjust the playback and volume of your music without getting out of bed!
In addition to their smart air purifiers and Wi-Fi speakers, there are also smart controls like the shortcut button for you to switch on IKEA smart lights, play music and control the IKEA electric blinds to give you a multipurpose monitoring system. Of course, these smart home appliances can be operated through simple gestures via the DIRIGERA app too.
