Control From Your Mobile App
WiZ's new range of products offers not just fully customised lighting preferences but also preset lighting modes, scenes, and dynamic options via the WiZ smartphone app. The best part is that WiZ Smart Connected Lighting and Philips Smart LED light with WiZ Connected products both work with the app.
Users will also have the option to set their lights to different effects for multiple uses. Plus, you can use two different colour gradients for an ombre lighting effect. The light has other physical controls including a WiZ remote for different modes, and you can use the WiZ app or a voice assistant for remote control.
SpaceSense™ & Matter Ready
A new addition to this launch is that all WiZ products are SpaceSense™ ready and Matter Certified (a system that lets your smart home devices connect with one another regardless of the operating system). These new features are now on the WiZ V2 app which is available on both Google Play & the Apple App Store.
Sukanto Aich, Chief Executive Officer, Signify Malaysia, said that the new features are embedded into the products automatically for a seamless and fuss-free user experience. It further amplifies WiZ's continuous effort to provide thoughtful products and easy-to-use technology that improves the user’s daily life and complements their homes.
WiZ SpaceSense™ For Better Motion Detection
With SpaceSense™, it enables you to set your smart lights to be triggered by motion without additional sensors. This innovation in the consumer lighting industry detects movement via Wi-Fi signal-sensing technology.
The technology monitors for disturbances in the signals which indicate movement, which enables motion detection without a line of sight or the need to install separate sensors. To use this feature, users need at least two lights in a room and they can also adjust the system’s sensitivity settings to allow specific adjustments.
Not to mention; this technology can also be disabled for pets. You wouldn't want your cats or dogs triggering the sensors all the time now, do you?
WiZ Matter Adoption For Better Connection
The WiZ range is among the first smart lighting players to adopt industry-unifying technology Matter, a universal open standard enabling compatible devices and systems to securely connect and interact with each other. Matter is also supported by technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
