OnePlus has announced that two of its newest additions to its affordable OnePlus Nord series will be coming to Malaysia next week! The launch of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and the OnePlus Nord CE Lite 5G marks the brand’s first-ever official launch in Malaysia.
These two models have been released in the Indian and European markets previously. Along with the two smartphones, OnePlus has also announced the release of the OnePlus Buds Pro and the OnePlus Nord Buds, their feature-rich audio devices that deliver great value.
OnePlus Nord 2T 5G
Offering “Everything You Could Ask For”, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G comes with the same flagship 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging as the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is able to charge the 4,500 mAh dual-cell battery from 1% - 100% in just 27 minutes, and gives you all day’s power in just 15 minutes – 120% faster than the original OnePlus Nord.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is also TUV Rheinland certified for safe fast charging and has 9 built-in temperature sensors to monitor the charging temperature in real-time, making sure the phone stays safe and cool during the charging process. The charging system is managed by an independent integrated circuit to ensure safety and stability.
With its triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, a 120° ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP mono lens, the Nord 2T 5G supports Nightscape Mode, which can shoot photos with high levels of detail and natural colours in low light. On the front, the phone comes equipped with a 32MP selfie camera with EIS.

Pricing starts at RM1,899 for the 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM variant and RM2,099 for the 12GB, 256GB ROM variant.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 which offers an octa-core CPU with speeds up to 2.2 GHz. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The 5000 mAh battery in the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G can power the device through an entire day of gaming, streaming, and scrolling through social media. It also comes with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging that takes the phone from 1% to 50% in just 30 minutes. Like the Nord 2T 5G, it also has 9 different sensors that ensure the device stays cool and runs smoothly during the charging process
The Nord CE 2 Lite also sports a triple rear camera setup with a 16MP EIS front camera. Nightscape is also supported, which allows the user to capture up to eight shots at varying exposures and intelligently weave them together to produce clearer, brighter, and more dramatic photos.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 12.1 and will be receiving 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates
