Local home consumer electrical appliances maker, KHIND, has come up with an affordable solution for Malaysians to acquire quality home appliances in the form of its rent-to-own scheme, a first in Malaysia. As part of their mission to provide easy accessibility even in a time of financial toll brought on in the wake of the pandemic, KHIND’s ethos to allow their customers to “Experience More” is certainly reflected in this move.
Currently available to households in the Klang Valley, the rent-to-own scheme allows customers to pay for their desired product through an instalment plan and retain full ownership upon completion of payment.
For example, one of KHIND’s most popular products, the KHIND washer dryer, can be obtained through the scheme with monthly payment plans over a period of 36 months (RM 99 per month), 24 months (RM 139 per month) and 12 months (RM 259 per month). The scheme includes free delivery, installation, and a 30-day trial period. Once the payment is completed over the selected period, customers can keep the machine with no additional charges
Additionally, customers who sign up for the 36-month plan before 30 June 2022 will only need to pay RM1 for the first month and resume the RM99 monthly payments for the consecutive months.
Throughout the duration of the payment period, KHIND is also offering a free annual care service plan worth RM400 per service regardless of the plan selected to ensure that the machine is on top of its game. The service plan includes levelling, cleaning and disinfection of various components including the tumbler, inlet valve, drainage pump filter, and the detergent drawer.
