Xiaomi 12 Ultra Leaked: Get A Sneak Peek of the Impressive Camera With Leica Branding

Looks dope!

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra has been all over the news recently even though there are little to no official announcements on the device. However, thanks to new renders made by @OnLeaks and @ZoutonUS, we at least know what the device will look like, and when we can expect it.

The first thing that catches the eye is the giant camera module on the back of the phone.

Last month, Xiaomi signed a partnership with Leica cameras to make their next flagship smartphones more camera-focused with advanced mobile photography capabilities. Therefore, it’s not surprising that the Xiaomi Ultra 12 will come with a huge circular bump camera made up of tiny lenses and sensors, with a red Leica logo on the bottom right. According to Zouton, the back camera will be comprised of a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP wide-angle lens, and a 48MP periscope lens.

The front camera will be situated at the top of the screen and is speculated to be a 20MP camera with never-before-seen zoom quality.

Apart from the camera, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will also come with a 6.6” curved display with 1440 x 3200 pixels, a 20:9 ratio AMOLED at 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1700 nits.

While all specifications are merely speculation, it’s still highly likely that the long-anticipated Xiaomi 12 Ultra will undoubtedly come with superior camera performance, thanks to the official partnership between Xiaomi and Leica. Nothing is yet known about the price, though Zouton alleges that Xiaomi will be rolling out the new device in the upcoming month.
