3 Cheap Ways to Reduce Global Warming + Smartphone Giveaway!

If you are a fan of nature AND tech, this article is for you

It's been said for a few decades that global warming is on the rise.

Due to pollution caused by both industrial and human activities, mother Earth and its inhabitants see an average increase of about 1°C to the average global temperature every decade since 1981.

That means if we aren't careful, the earth may rise to another 5°C permanently in the next 50 years.

Luckily, many people today are aware of how their activities are harming the planet for the current and future generations. Industry players have come up with waste-free solutions and energy-saving designs for their products. There's also a rise in international green initiatives.

But not everyone is able to follow a completely green life due to the limited availability and even the price of environment-friendly products.

That's okay. Here are 3 simple and cheap ways to go green. Make sure you stick to the end as we have 2 gifts to giveaway at the end of this article!

1. Use less hot water

Your parents may say that hot water is beneficial to your body. But it actually takes a lot of energy (read: electricity) to heat up water, thus emitting waste when electricity and gas are used to heat water.

The next time you want to reheat boiled water or have a warm shower, check to see if there are other alternatives.

2. Check your car tires

Car emissions have long been recognised as one of the biggest contributors to air pollution. That's why you should take public transport whenever possible. But sometimes, this is just hard to follow especially for countries with poor road planning.

Here's one way to be green; keep your tires fully inflated. This ensures that you don't drag your car around and use more petrol in the long run.

3. Turn off unused electrical goods

Actions like turning off the lights in empty rooms and appliances when not in use will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emitted. Whenever possible, set a timer for say, air conditioners, instead of letting them run all night long.
