If a new graphics card or processor has been sitting on your upgrade list, Intel has given PC gamers in Malaysia a reason to move sooner. Intel Gamer Days 2026 is running now, and a qualifying purchase comes with two big-name games at no extra cost.

Writes about phones, laptops and the hardware Malaysians actually buy, with an eye on local pricing and warranty reality.

What Intel Gamer Days 2026 is offering

The retail bundle runs from 10 August to 13 September 2026. Buy a qualifying Intel Core, Intel Core Ultra or Intel Arc Graphics product from a participating retail or OEM partner, and you can claim digital copies of two titles: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Star Wars: Galactic Racer.

There is also a separate Collector's Edition giveaway through Intel Gaming Access, running from 10 August to 10 September, that covers both games. Timing matters here: you have until 31 October 2026 to redeem the bundle, and the download links only unlock on each game's own launch date.

Which Intel products qualify

The bundle covers a fairly wide slice of Intel's current range rather than a single chip:

  • Desktop: Intel Core Ultra 5, 7 and 9 (Series 2), Core Ultra 5 and 7 Plus (Series 2), and Core 14th Gen processors
  • Mobile: Intel Core Ultra 5, 7 and 9 (Series 3), Core Ultra 5 and 7 Plus (Series 2), select Series 2 systems, Core processors (Series 2), and Arc G-series powered handhelds
  • Graphics: Intel Arc B-series and A-series discrete graphics cards

Because the offer works through participating partners, it is worth checking that your preferred store or system builder is taking part before you buy. Intel has not published Malaysia-specific pricing for the promotion, so the real value depends on which qualifying product you choose.

Why the games matter beyond the freebie

Intel is also the official launch partner for both titles, which is where the technical side comes in. Both games are being tuned for Intel's XeSS 3 suite at launch: XeSS Super Resolution, XeSS Multi-frame Generation and Xe Low Latency. For anyone buying into Arc graphics, day-one support for those features is arguably the more useful part of the announcement, because it shapes how the games actually run rather than just what you pay.

Scot Amos, Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics, said Intel had "worked closely with our team to ensure players enjoy an optimised and immersive experience" in the new Tomb Raider. Star Wars: Galactic Racer arrives first, on 6 October 2026, with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis following on 12 February 2027.

Is it worth it?

Bundled games have become a standard sweetener in the PC hardware fight, so this is Intel answering a tactic its rivals use too. If you were already planning an Intel build or upgrade this quarter, two AAA titles at no extra cost is a real bonus. If you were not, the games alone are unlikely to justify the spend. It is the same sum buyers weigh on the other side of the aisle, whether that is a value card like the AMD Radeon RX 9050 or a gaming chip like the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D: the hardware has to make sense first, and the extras settle a close call.
