What CelcomDigi and SPayLater are offering
CelcomDigi has teamed up with SPayLater to waive the instalment fee for six months on selected smartphone bundles under its Pakej MegaJimat plan. In plain terms, you split the cost of an eligible phone over six months and pay no instalment fee on top, as long as you check out with SPayLater.
The offer runs from now until 31 December 2026. To qualify, you make a minimum upfront payment of RM400 on an eligible device bundle, then complete the purchase using SPayLater at checkout. It is available only through the CelcomDigi Online Store, not in physical shops.
Why the zero fee matters
Buy-now-pay-later plans usually carry a service or instalment fee that quietly raises what a phone actually costs you by the time it is paid off. Removing that fee for six months means the price you see is closer to the price you pay, which is the part most buyers care about. SPayLater is a buy-now-pay-later option, so the payment is arranged at checkout rather than through a separate loan application.
The part to read for yourself is the eligibility list. The offer covers selected bundles rather than the whole range, and the RM400 minimum upfront payment sets the floor. CelcomDigi says the full terms and the list of qualifying devices are on its website, so it is worth checking that your preferred phone is on it before counting on the deal.
Bundled with the Mega Gegar campaign
Eligible purchases also roll into CelcomDigi's Mega Gegar 20 Juta campaign, which is giving away prizes worth up to RM20 million. The prize pool includes a Proton e.MAS 7 electric car, a smart home makeover, local and overseas holidays, and year-round concert tickets through Live Nation. Buyers are entered automatically, so the campaign runs alongside the instalment offer rather than asking for a separate sign-up.
Who this is for
CelcomDigi is Malaysia's largest mobile operator, with more than 20.4 million users, so a device-and-plan bundle from its online store is a mainstream route to an upgrade rather than a niche one. If you were already going to buy a phone through CelcomDigi, timing the purchase before 31 December 2026 and paying with SPayLater turns a routine upgrade into a cheaper one. If you were not, the zero fee on its own is not a reason to take on a plan you do not need.
