If you have ever wanted a television that gets out of the way, LG's newest flagship is built around exactly that idea. The company has brought its 2026 premium TV range to Malaysia, and the headline act is the return of the OLED evo W6, the Wallpaper TV that sits almost flat against the wall.

The Wallpaper TV is back

The OLED evo W6 is the centrepiece of the lineup. At 9.95mm thin, it is designed to sit flush against the wall from edge to edge, so the screen reads as part of the room rather than a box mounted on it. LG bills it as the thinnest true wireless OLED TV it has made.

The trick is the Zero Connect Box, which sends both video and audio to the panel wirelessly and can sit up to 10 metres away. That keeps cables out of sight without giving up performance: the W6 is the first true wireless set LG says can carry visually lossless 4K at 165Hz, and it holds NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium certifications for smoother gaming.

The rest of the 2026 lineup

Beyond the W6, LG is fielding a broad 2026 range. The OLED evo family also includes the G6 and C6, while the wider lineup spans the new Micro RGB evo AI, Mini RGB evo AI, QNED evo AI Mini LED and NANO 4K UHD models. The Micro RGB set controls red, green and blue light individually for finer colour, while the Mini LED and Mini RGB models lean on precise local dimming for deeper contrast.

Running through the range is what LG calls Affectionate Intelligence, its AI layer powered by the brand's latest alpha AI processors. The idea is a TV that tunes picture, sound and content recommendations to how each household actually watches, part of LG's wider Smart Life vision. It also marks the company's 13th year of OLED TVs.

Price and Malaysian availability

The 2026 lineup is available in Malaysia now, and it spans a wide range of budgets. Pricing starts from around RM2,049 for an entry NANO model and climbs to RM42,399 for the 83-inch OLED evo W6 flagship, so there is a step on the ladder for most living rooms.

LG is also running a Merdeka promotion from 1 August to 1 November 2026, with up to RM4,000 in Touch 'n Go eWallet credit on selected sets, which takes some of the sting out of the higher-end models.

The takeaway

The W6 is the eye-catcher, but the real story is choice: a 2026 range that runs from an affordable NANO screen to a near-invisible wireless flagship, all sharing the same AI features. If a cleaner living room is the goal, LG's Wallpaper TV is once again the one to beat.
