Alongside the new foldables, Samsung refreshed its smartwatch line at Galaxy Unpacked in London, introducing the rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and the mainstream Galaxy Watch9. Both go up for pre order in Malaysia from today, with retail availability on 14 August 2026.
"Samsung is committed to helping people live better. We want to make the shift from reactive treatment to proactive care as seamless as possible," said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of the Device eXperience Division at Samsung Electronics.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2

The Watch Ultra2 comes in a single 47mm size, in Titanium Gray and Titanium Silver. Samsung has made the shock resistant titanium casing 12 percent thinner than the previous generation, and pushed the display to 5,000 nits, the brightest Samsung has put on a smartwatch.
The bigger change is endurance. The battery grows to 800mAh, a 35 percent increase over the previous Ultra, and it runs on the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform.
Malaysia price: RM3,399.
Galaxy Watch9

The Watch9 is the everyday model, in 40mm and 44mm. The 40mm comes in Cream and Graphite, the 44mm in Graphite and Silver. It carries a 390mAh battery, a 3,000 nit display and the same Snapdragon Wear Elite platform as the Ultra2.
There are four versions, so the price depends on size and connectivity:
| Model | Malaysia RRP |
| Galaxy Watch9 40mm Bluetooth | RM1,499 |
| Galaxy Watch9 40mm LTE | RM1,799 |
| Galaxy Watch9 44mm Bluetooth | RM1,599 |
| Galaxy Watch9 44mm LTE | RM1,899 |
The health features are the real story

Both watches share Samsung's BioActive sensor and pick up three additions. Heart Health Score and Fitness Index turn continuous readings into a single trend you can act on, and a new Hearing feature warns you when you are in unsafe noise and reports on your exposure. Galaxy AI sits on top, turning the biometric data into recommendations rather than raw charts.
