If you are on U Mobile, every FIFA World Cup 2026 match just became free to stream. The telco has been appointed the official broadcast sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2026 on RTMKlik, and it is pairing the sponsorship with a free daily data pass so subscribers can watch all 104 matches without worrying about their quota.

How the free ULTRA Football Pass works
The ULTRA Football Pass gives all U Mobile mobile and broadband subscribers free daily unlimited data at unlimited speed for streaming FIFA World Cup 2026 matches on RTMKlik, the national broadcaster's streaming platform. The pass is available from 11 June to 20 July 2026 and can be redeemed through the MyUMobile app, then used to stream any of the 104 tournament matches wherever you are.
That covers the entire tournament: group stages, knockouts and the final, on RTM's platform rather than behind a paid sports subscription.
ULTRA Football Fest: prizes up to a RM250,000 football trip
Alongside the free streaming, U Mobile is running ULTRA Football Fest from 5 June to 31 July 2026. The headline prize is the ULTRA Dream Football Tour, an all-expenses-paid football trip worth RM250,000 for one winner and three friends or family members to visit some of the world's most iconic football cities.
The rest of the prize pool leans heavily on Samsung hardware:
- Four ULTRA Home Stadium Makeovers, each a Samsung home appliance bundle worth RM50,000
- 50 Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphones
- 100 Samsung 65-inch Crystal UHD 4K smart TVs
- 500 official 2026 team jerseys
To enter, subscribers need to sign up, upgrade, or purchase devices under the ULTRA Prepaid, ULTRA Postpaid or U Home 5G Broadband plans during the campaign period.
Why this matters for Malaysian football fans
Live sport is one of the heaviest uses of mobile data, and a month-long tournament streamed on the go can demolish a normal quota. By zero-rating World Cup streaming at full speed, U Mobile is removing the most practical barrier to watching matches on a phone or tablet. It is also a statement signing for RTMKlik, which gets a telco partner pushing viewers toward the platform for the tournament's full run.
For U Mobile, Malaysia's newest 5G network operator, the sponsorship is a visibility play at exactly the moment the country's attention turns to football.
If you are a subscriber, redeem the ULTRA Football Pass in the MyUMobile app before the next kickoff. Full campaign details are on U Mobile's ULTRA Football Fest page.
