The Exchange TRX is still welcoming visitors to its Chinese New Year ‘A Tale of Spring' grand celebration that blends heritage with modern elegance until 9 February 2025
Guests are invited to experience a visual and sensory spectacle inspired by the beauty of Imperial Gardens. The campaign features immersive installations, live cultural performances, festive dining, exclusive shopping, and a tiered rewards program, promising an elevated celebration.
The centrepiece of ‘A Tale of Spring’ is a grand Imperial Garden-inspired installation at the Central Exchange. Drawing inspiration from classical Chinese gardens, the display showcases lush floral arrangements, symbolic motifs, and elegant design elements.
At the heart of the garden is the Zodiac Journey Bridge, a key attraction where guests can explore 12 intricately crafted Zodiac sculptures, each representing a unique aspect of Chinese astrology. Beneath the bridge, a Blossom Tunnel adorned with vibrant blooms creates a photo-worthy moment symbolising growth and fresh beginnings. Guests can also stroll along the Bamboo Walk, leading to a serene Koi Pond and an elegant gazebo with mechanical storks—symbols of longevity and abundance.
Catch the last round of celebrations at The Exchange TRX on 8 & 9 february 2025, where visitors can enjoy mesmerising live performances that pay homage to the rich heritage of Chinese culture. Twice daily, guests can experience a lineup of captivating acts that combine spectacle, artistry, and tradition.
The rhythmic energy of the Lion Dance fills the air with the sounds of beating drums and clashing cymbals, symbolising good luck, and prosperity. Guests can also enjoy the graceful Fan Dance, a performance that embodies elegance, beauty, and cultural tradition.
Accompanying these performances is the soothing sound of traditional Chinese instrumental music, with instruments like the guzheng and erhu creating an immersive sensory experience. Together, these live performances bring energy, emotion, and beauty to every visit, offering something memorable for all ages.
To enhance the festive shopping experience with a tiered rewards program, shoppers can make purchases at The Exchange TRX and Exchange 106 retail stores to enjoy additional rewards. Shoppers who spend at least RM388 (or RM338 with UOB cards) in a single receipt will receive an Auspicious Angpow Set, beautifully designed with gold-embossed motifs that symbolise prosperity and abundance.
For those spending RM3,888 (or RM3,500 with UOB cards) in two receipts, an Oriental Travel Tea Set and an Auspicious Angpow Set await—perfect for hosting loved ones and embracing the tradition of tea-sharing during Chinese New Year.
