Apple has officially announced the date of its next major event: September 9th, 2024, at 10AM PT (September 10th, 1AM in Malaysia). The event,  named “It’s Glowtime,” will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. As usual, this year’s showcase should be packed with exciting announcements, and we're expecting to see the much-anticipated iPhone 16 lineup, new generations of AirPods, or maybe even a new iPad Mini!

One of the most anticipated devices for this year's launch event is the iPhone 16 lineup, which is rumoured to feature a brand new design: vertical cameras. Considering that the iPhone design hasn't changed much since the inaugural iPhone, this is big news indeed.

Besides that, there have been rumors that the iPhone 16 Pro lineup will come in a brand-new bronze colour called "Desert Titanium", which looks very much like gold to me. Could this be the next "in" colour for smartphones in 2025?

And then there's Apple Intelligence, which featured heavily on WWDC24 earlier this year in Apple's software updates. Considering that the new iPhone 16 lineup will most definitely come out of the box with iOS 18, we can be 99% sure that they will be Apple's first-ever AI smartphones.

Alongside the new iPhones, Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 10 and two new versions of AirPods, bringing enhancements in performance, battery life, and features. And, just because we haven't had an iPad Mini update in almost five years, I'm hoping for a new generation of Apple's smallest iPads.

There's still a lot under wraps, though, so mark your calendars and stay tuned for more updates as we approach Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event!
