In line with Haier's aims to improve its fridge and freezer offerings in Malaysia, the brand unveiled its new lineup of fridges and freezers incorporated with the latest technologies that elevate home refrigeration standards and maintain food freshness longer.

HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1 – ALL FRESH DOUBLE FRESHNESS MEGA CAPACITY FRIDGE
Leading the lineup is Haier’s flagship model is the new HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1 fridge with innovative and top-of-the-line preservation technologies, dubbed all-space preservation, that keep food fresher for longer.
This 4-door model is the company’s largest to-date with a capacity of 758L to offer ample room for the entire family to organise food and groceries, preventing cross-contamination. It's designed to store food under optimal conditions regardless of its location in the compartmentalised, cavernous space courtesy of the air flow via strategically placed air vents on every level.
Features:
- Fresher Shield technology minimises heat transfer into the freezer during defrosting to regulate temperature fluctuations. This helps prevent food thermal shock to lock in taste and juiciness.
- Humidity Control System (HCS) helps maintain freshness of perishables in particular fruits and vegetables by preventing drying out and wilting. It slows degradation that leads to spoilage.
- ABT PRO (anti-bacteria) module inside the fridge uses UV light and photocatalyst filter to ionise air and decompose bacteria and odours. It also has the added benefit of extending the shelf life of fruits, vegetables, and other foods.
Beyond aesthetics, the fridge is equipped with sensors that monitor its operations and allow users to control settings and check contents remotely via smartphone via HaiSmart. It is also energy-efficient with quiet operation thanks to the twin inverter technology.
This fridge in sleek grey design with a slate texture that complements modern kitchens is resistant to wear and tear. The HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1 will start retailing in August for RM7,899.
MULTI DOOR HRF 585 AND 480 SERIES – SIMPLIFYING GROCERY ORGANISATION
Providing options for mid-sized homes, Haier Malaysia introduced the Multi door 585 (HRF-IM585) in four variants and Multi door 480 (HRF-IM480) in two variants. Both are multi door models; the Multi door 585 has 529L capacity while the Multi door 480 offers 480L capacity.
Features:
- Magic Zone compartment that utilises an advanced ventilation system to control the flow of cold air with three temperature options 0°C, 2°C, and 4°C.
- Dedicated storage space for various types of foods such as meat, fish, and dairy at just the right temperatures, ensuring that these products remain safe and fresh.
- 95º Anti-tipping Bottle Holder to hold bottles in place and minimise risk of spillage.
- Twin inverter technology promotes energy efficiency and quieter operation with less noise, while the 20-year warranty provides added peace of mind for users for both these multi door models.
- The Multi door 585 model comes in the option of glass or metal chassis and four colours of gemstone blue, glass white, glass black and metal black. It is priced at RM3,899 to RM4,399.
Meanwhile, the Multi door 480 model is available in piano black glass chassis and gemstone blue metal chassis, retailing at RM3,399 and RM3,499 respectively starting in August.
HWS-84G & 49G – YOUR VERY OWN WINE CELLAR
Besides the new fridges, Haier also announced two models of wine cellars, HWS-84G and HWS-49G, to store wines at the ideal temperature. These cellars are designed to allow professional cellaring from the comfort of customers’ own home.
Features:
- Validated by VDE to maintain a very constant temperature and the right humidity which in totality provides the best environment for wines.
- With the help of a triple-layered glass door, the cellars block out harmful UV rays while maintaining good insulation from outside fluctuating temperatures.
- The door is also able to resist condensation, ensuring a clear view of its content. Both models are capable of 5º - 20ºC temperature control and a humidity range of 50 - 70%.
- Caravaggio dim light to mimic the lighting conditions of wine cellars for better storage and resting of wines.
The 84-bottle capacity HWS-84G retails for RM5,499 and the smaller 49 bottle capacity HWS-49G retails for RM3,999.
HUR-181, 261 AND 331NE UPRIGHT FREEZERS – MULTIPURPOSE CONVENIENCE
To meet a wider range of freezing needs, Haier also took the opportunity to introduce the HUR-181NE, HUR-261NE, and HUR-331NE Upright Freezers. These vertical freezers offer multi-level layout that makes it easy to accommodate, organise and access a variety of items.
- Capable of -24ºC freezing and up to 8ºC for normal refrigeration.
- Dersigned with Haier’s Pro Frost-Free Cooling technology to ensure uniform air circulation that helps save on electricity use.
- High efficiency compressors to allow for quiet operation at 37dB, in addition to being power efficient.
- For added convenience, the doors open 90 degrees with an auto hold function for easier loading and unloading.
These new freezers retail at RM2,199 for HUR-181NE, RM3,099 for HUR-261NE and RM3,699 for HUR-331NE.
