Samsung has just confirmed the date for its second Unpacked event of the year: 10 July 2024! The event will be held in Paris and live-streamed worldwide on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel at 9pm MYT.
Samsung Unpacked is the brand's biannual launch event. Earlier in January this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series with Galaxy AI at the first Unpacked event of the year. This time around, we're expecting Samsung to launch its next foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Fold6 (names unconfirmed).
There's not much to know about the new Galaxy Z foldable phones, except that they're very likely to get the same or even better Galaxy AI features as the Galaxy S24 series. Some sources are claiming that the Galaxy Z Flip6 will have a price increase compared to the last generation, and maybe a 50MP front camera, a huge leap from the Galaxy Flip5's 12MP camera. Other than that, there aren't many notable leaks about the hardware and software of either phone.
Apart from the Galaxy Z Series, we can also expect to see the launch of the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, and the Galaxy RIng, the latter of which was announced in the January Unpacked this year.
