Apple has just announced the launch of its new iPad Air lineup during the Let Loose Event! It's now available in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch and powered by the robust M2 chip. This is the first time the iPad Air is available in two different sizes!
The 11-inch model continues to offer supreme portability, while the 13-inch version expands your workspace with a significantly larger screen. Both models are equipped with a brilliant Liquid Retina display and boast new colours including blue and purple, alongside the classic starlight and space grey.
The new iPad Air is designed to deliver up to 50% faster performance than its predecessors, courtesy of the new M2 chip. This chip enhances applications from graphic-intensive games to professional-grade design software. With a faster CPU and GPU, the new iPad Air elevates performance significantly compared to previous models.
The 16-core Neural Engine in the M2 chip offers advanced AI capabilities, supporting features like Visual Look Up and Live Text. The new iPad Air also has powerful machine learning features and advanced frameworks like Core ML to make it easier than ever to tap into the AI features available on the device.
Both sizes feature a Liquid Retina display with P3 wide colour, high brightness, True Tone, and anti-reflective coating. The redesigned placement of the 12MP Ultra Wide front camera also now comes with Centre Stage, which is ideal for video calls on the go, alongside landscape stereo speakers with Spatial Audio.
