Bonjour! Next Galaxy Unpacked Rumored To Take Place In Paris

Samsung could be launching the Galaxy XR headset and the Galaxy Ring

Get ready for an action packed July, as there are multiple rumors that say Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked will be held in the City of Love, aka Paris. Additionally, according to sources, the event is set to be held tentatively on July 10.

Meanwhile, according to Sammobile, Samsung could be unveiling multiple new devices at their annual summer Galaxy Unpacked. These devices may include a couple of new book-style Galaxy Z Fold models, which are the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and a clamshell-style foldable phone, rumoured to be the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.

As for the Galaxy Z Fold rumours, the Z Fold 6 will not have major physical changes, but there will probably be some under the hood. The chipset for the Z Fold 6 is likely to have the most powerful processor ever used on Android smartphones available so far, which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and is expected to arrive with an AI-like One UI.

It may also feature better screens and a more advanced hinge for a less bulky build. The same camera and battery speculations have surfaced around the internet, but there’s no confirmation about their authenticity yet.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra variant may also be unveiled as a high-end smartphone with improved specifications. However, it is expected that it will be more expensive than other models and may not be sold in certain regions.

As for the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, it might involve upgrades such as an updated One UI and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU. In addition, there are unconfirmed reports that Exynos processors would be specifically designed for non-US Samsung Z Flip 6 models. A few major changes may include improved display quality—a 6.7-inch full-screen foldable main screen and a 3.4-inch protective display. The device is anticipated to be less thin in terms of dimensions yet have both screens' refresh rate of 120 Hz.

And for the upcoming earbuds by Samsung, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro will have features yet to be known. However, it is believed that the Buds 3 Pro will introduce new technologies like the live language translation feature and a fitness sensor for tracking vitals. It is expected for Samsung to launch the buds with foldable or flagship phones while being discounted, assuming a higher price than the previous ones.

There's also a potential that we'll get a completely new device from Samsung at the next Galaxy Unpacked. The company is expected to present more information about the Galaxy Ring, which is a smart-ring miniature wearable device.

The initial unveiling of this wearable device took place during the first Galaxy Unpacked of the year, where they also introduced the Galaxy S24 smartphone lineup. In terms of key features of the Galaxy Ring, it can be used to subtly monitor your physical activities, sleep patterns, and body systems without a screen. Then, all data collected from this device about you will be sent to your mobile phone via Bluetooth connection.

Lastly, it is also rumoured that Samsung is currently working with Qualcomm in collaboration with Google so that they can come up with a virtual reality headset. The Samsung Galaxy XR is a virtual-reality headset that is speculated to act as a competitor for the Apple Vision Pro and could be launched or unveiled during the event.

Despite Samsung's silence or confirmation on all of these possible rumours, past event date patterns suggest that the event being held on July 10 is probably true. As for the potential location of this upcoming event, it makes sense, as Samsung is one of the biggest sponsors for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Of course, all these are just rumors, and we'll get more concrete details as the date creeps closer to summer.

The Samsung event Galaxy Unpacked will be live-streamed through X, Facebook, YouTube, and Samsung's official website, so one can watch it live anywhere on their computer or mobile device with an internet connection to support streaming video.
