X Pro (Formerly TweetDeck) Is No Longer Free To Use - Here's How Much It Costs

Elon makes yet another change that benefits no one

X was first introduced to us through Elon Musk announcing a change in Twitter’s logo, and then just a few days later Twitter completely rebranded to ‘X’. Just as we thought it was all over, Elon has introduced a new change where XPro (once known as TweetDeck) will now cost RM 369 per year.

If you're not already in the loop, TweetDeck is renowned for its capacity to display multiple timelines within a single interface. This feature-rich tool also simplifies managing various Twitter accounts, scheduling future Tweets, creating Tweet collections, and more. The best part about TweetDeck was that it used to be free. Then Elon took over and made yet another change that either forces users to spend money on an app, or just use Threads.

Now that it costs money, XPro would most likely only be used by content creators and small businesses to interact and communicate with their audience. With a yearly payment of RM 369, XPro probably wouldn’t be worth the buy if you are a regular user that posts memes on the platform.

With the future of X and XPro being uncertain (and considering how unpredictable Elon’s decisions for the app are), any more changes to the once-loved app should just be expected at this point - and since the rebranding to X happened almost a month ago, the question on most people’s mind is; What do we even call posts on X?
