Elon Musk, of Twitter fame, has announced in (of course) a Twitter post that you will now be able to upload 2 hour-long videos if you are Twitter Blue verified. For only US$8 a month, you'll be able to upload a two-hour or 8GB worth of videos in your Twitter post, among other perks like a nice blue tick beside your name!
Naturally, this has caused some Internet shenanigans to ensue. Under the comments alone, there were some Twitter Blue users who posted 2-hour clips such as Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" meme and even a 2-hour video of the Nyan Cat meme.
Sadly, you're still not allowed to upload full movies onto the platform. Twitter Blue users who have posted full movies such as Shrek and Paid in Full have been taken down under copyright issues.
If you're interested in this new feature, all you need to do is pay RM35 per month if you post on the Twitter website. On the Twitter app, however, you will need to pay RM50 monthly if you'd like to subscribe on mobile (Android or iOS).
