In August 2022, the footwear and apparel brand, Skechers, launched the first Demon Slayer collection centred on the three main characters – Tanjiro, Nezuko and Zenitsu. This time around, Skechers came to slay again presenting its second collaboration with the famous Japanese anime.
The collection features Uzui Tengen, Tomioka Giyu, Kocho Shinobu, and Rengoku Kyojuro as four out of nine pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps, the gurus of Tanjiro in his demon-slaying mission. Skechers released the collection with three of its best sneakers styles: Global Joggers, D’Lites 4.0, and Stamina V3.
As the designs are highly inspired by the key colours of each character, the colours of this fresh collection blend together well, creating the finished sporty look. While looking fashionable, Skechers did not forget to prioritise the comfort of their products.
These sneakers are geared up with the Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam® cushioned comfort insole and a midsole that is lightweight, shock-absorbing and supportive. The D’Lites 4.0 and Global Joggers, in particular, are equipped with the Goodyear® Performance Outsole to enhance traction, stability and durability while the Stamina V3 has a flexible rubber traction outsole.
