Recently at the OnePlus Cloud 11 Event in New Delhi, OnePlus announced that they're looking to expand their product portfolio by launching new devices. Reflecting the company's unique 1+4+X strategy, they revealed three new products alongside the new OnePlus 11 5G: the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Series earbuds, the OnePlus Pad, and The OnePlus 81 Pro keyboard.
In the event, Pete Lau explained the strategy, describing that "the number "1" denotes the top-of-the-line smartphone and the number "4" represents ecosystem items including TVs, TWS, watches, and tablets. A vast array of products, denoted by "X," can be integrated into the OnePlus ecosystem to create a more fulfilling digital experience.
The whole event was live-streamed over the company's website and official YouTube channel, and it was open to all OnePlus-enthusiasts and casual tech fans around the world. Although there are still no confirmed dates and prices for the local release, these devices should be available after the official launch of the OnePlus 11 5G in Malaysia this 14 February 2023.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2
The upcoming flagship TWS from OnePlus will feature custom-fit, high-quality audio thanks to their collaboration with Danish speaker maker, Dynaudio. OnePlus incorporated this cutting-edge MelodyBoost Dual Drivers technology into a small design, allowing for the reproduction of powerful bass without sacrificing the clarity of the vocals.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 adopts Google's signature spatial audio function developed for Android 13, giving users a more immersive audiovisual experience when streaming movies and series. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 also boast an EQ tuned by the Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer titled "Soundscape", allowing users to adjust the balance of frequency components to match Hans' signature taste and musical styles for fuller orchestral sound in a movie.
Interestingly, it will also feature industry-leading TUV-certified Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation, transparency mode, 39 hours of music playback with multiple additional charges in the case and AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs support. There will be two colour variants for you to choose from; Arbor Green or Obsidian Black.
OnePlus Pad
After multiple reports and hearsays, the one-of-its-kind tablet from OnePlus Pad is finally revealed to the masses. Powered by the fast Dimensity 9000 chipset, the tablet is an ideal choice for multitaskers and those who enjoy compact entertainment in general.

The 11.61-inch screen on the table boasts a quality 7:5 aspect ratio and the fastest refresh rate of any tablet at 144Hz, making it ideal for immersive multimedia consumption and gaming experience. Also, the OnePlus Pad is equipped with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos to aid in a more cutting-edge audio-video experience.
The OnePlus Pad also allows seamless connection as it supports cross-screen transmission - which means that when you take pictures and videos with your OnePlus phone, the will tablet receives the images in real-time so you can start editing instantly. Also, the tablet comes with the OnePlus Stylo and OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard to help get your creativity going.
There is almost no visible border around the display, thanks to the 6.54mm thin bezel, and the OnePlus Pad is ergonomically designed to reduce hand and wrist strain during extended use. There's also a centred rear camera that spots a 13MP shooter that's 4K video-capable and an 8MP 1080p camera on the front as well.
OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro
OnePlus' first mechanical keyboard is the result of a collaboration with Keychron, a well-known manufacturer of quality custom wireless mechanical keyboards. This high-performing device delivers overall comfort, functionality, and durability.

OnePlus claims that PBT "Marble-mallow" keycaps have a soft bounce and provide ultimate comfort. You will also receive a bottom case made from aluminium, south-facing RGB lighting, adjustable tilt legs and a metallic-looking top case.
100 hours of use time is possible on a single charge, and the 4,000 mAh battery needs about five hours to fully charge. The keyboard has a single USB-C port on the back and a toggle switch that lets you choose between wired and wireless operations. In addition, a second toggle switch can be found on the back of the keyboard to switch between Mac and PC compatibility. The OnePlus Keyboard 81 can be found in two configurations; one with Winter Bonfire linear switch and Summer Breeze clicky switch.
Local Pricing and Availability
OnePlus Malaysia will be holding a separate launch event on 14 Feb 2023 for the release of the OnePlus 11 5G in Malaysia. The OInePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Pad, and OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is expected to be available then as well.
