In conjunction with the well-celebrated growth of their very own Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), the Huawei Developer Day was held in Kuala Lumpur with partners and media in attendance at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
Filled with informative talks and panels, Huawei Malaysia presented an HMS booth tour so attendees could get their hands on Huawei's many products. In keeping with the event's theme of "Better Together," Huawei also held an awards ceremony in which they presented 16 prizes to deserving recipients in a wide range of categories to show their gratitude for the continued support of their business partners.
Part of the main occasion at the special event is the official launch of the HMS industry solutions, which leveraged Huawei's market-leading strengths to encourage innovation and growth among strategic partners and app developers, creating a winning formula for an ecosystem that benefits everyone. Over 300 Huawei partners in APAC were invited to hear from respected speakers about current industry trends and their experiences using Huawei's custom solutions in four key areas: E-commerce, Travel, Entertainment, and Gaming.
Some of the products and technologies that make up the HMS industry solutions are HUAWEI Ads, Push, and geo-fencing. Another interesting feature is the Petal Maps (Map Kit, Location Kit, and Site Kit) which has lane-level guidance, high-fidelity 3D modelling, and deep integration with HUAWEI devices. Aside from that, HUAWEI is also promising new and cutting-edge media technologies, such as face masking, AI filters, and first tracking as what were revealed during the Huawei P50 event. Gaming-wise, HUAWEI offers HMS solutions through AppGallery, which is a one-stop service platform for game developers and it was revealed that it has more than 580 million monthly active users worldwide.
