Both the HERO11 Black and HERO11 Black mini uses new 1/1.9” sensors to deliver over 1 billion colours in a 10-bit colour video at up to 5.3K resolution at 60 frames per second.
HERO11 Black’s new larger sensor also enables 8:7 aspect ratio video for the largest vertical field of view ever on a GoPro, meaning you can now capture more vertical scenes.
Should you want to crop into different aspect ratios, you can do so in the GoPro Quik app. With it, you can create extra-tall 9:16 vertical shots for Instagram and TikTok, plus high-resolution 16:9 cinematic shots which are ideal for YouTube or the big screen. Moreover, you can also zoom in on the best sections of your videos to create high-resolution close-ups.
Additionally, the new sensor also enables HyperView; a wide 16:9 field of view which is a first on a HERO camera.
