Yesterday, SteamDB put up a timer on their website counting down to the next Steam sale, the Steam Summer Sale 2022. According to the timer, the sale will be starting on 24 June, 10am PST, which is 1am on 24 June in Malaysia.
If you’re a gamer, you’re probably no stranger to Steam’s sales. Steam holds season sales every year that typically lasts for two weeks, and is an eagerly awaited crowd favourite.
During the last Lunar New Year Sale 2022, hundreds of games ranging from AAA titles to indie games were on sale, including Crusader Kings, Hades, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and Cyberpunk.
For the Summer Sale 2022, Steam has revealed a small list of games that might be on sale in their announcement video. Among those are Cyberpunk 2077, The Sims 4, Rust, Dead by Daylight, and thousands more other games. No kidding, that’s their slogan: Thousands of games on sale!
So while there are no other details on what the discounted rates would be for the Summer Sale 2022, you can still expect to fill up your games library later this week.
