Last week, YTL Communications’ Yes launched their “5G For All” campaign that allows Malaysians to have better and easier access to the 5G network. Amongst the new announcements was the launch of the cheapest new Infinite plans, which are priced at 300% lower than the current 4G market standard.

As the first telco provider to offer 5G services in Malaysia back in January 2022, Yes has launched the next phase of its journey in enabling all Malaysians to have easy access to 5G plans. The Infinite series mobile plan offers an average price of RM0.30 per GB with high-speed data for both 4G and 5G.

If you don’t have a 5G compatible phone yet, don’t worry! You can get the 36-month Infinite+ plan that will give you a free 5G smartphone according to your plan tier. There is no upfront payment, no hidden charges, and no bill shock.

Not only that, but renowned smartphone brands have also partnered with Yes to accelerate 5G adoption in Malaysia. These brands include OPPO, Samsung, vivo, and Xiaomi. Yes believes this collaboration will form a robust device ecosystem and make “5G For All” less of a slogan and more of a reality.

You can pre-register for Yes’ Infinite and Infinite+ mobile plans on their website here. The mobile plans will be available from 9 June onwards. Consumers can sign up at all Yes, OPPO, Samsung, vivo, and Xiaomi partner stores.
