How We Chose
We checked candidate laptops against Lazada Philippines and Shopee Philippines listings on 27 September 2026, following the actual product page for each (not a search result or category page) to confirm it renders, shows a live price, and has a working "Add to Cart" button. For every laptop we kept, we then generated our own tracking link and followed it end-to-end to confirm it lands on that exact product, not a search page or a store front. Several candidates we researched are excluded from this list even though they are real, current laptops: an Acer Aspire 3 (A315-24P-R4KG) and an ASUS Vivobook Go 15 (E1504FA-NJ389W) that multiple Philippine retailers list as "phased out" or discontinued despite still appearing in search results, and a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 1 and Slim 3 whose current Philippine pricing has moved well above ₱30,000. We could not find a genuine video-editing-capable laptop (16GB RAM or a discrete GPU) inside this budget as of this check; every configuration we found with those specs priced at ₱35,999 or higher.

The INbook X2 Plus is the one laptop from the old lineup that held up under a live check: still sold new, still at a genuine budget price, and still the best-built laptop we found under ₱30,000. Its full-metal chassis and 100% sRGB screen are unusual at this price; most competitors in this range use plastic bodies and washed-out 45-60% sRGB panels. The tradeoff is 8GB of RAM that cannot be upgraded, which is fine for browser tabs and office work but will feel tight if you routinely run several heavy applications at once.

Buying a Laptop Under ₱30,000 in the Philippines: What to Check
Acer, HP and Infinix all operate authorized service centers in the Philippines (Acer and HP have multi-city networks; Infinix routes warranty through its local distributor), so a hardware fault after the box warranty is a real repair path, not just a return to the seller. Chuwi does not have a Philippine service center: buy it from a seller you trust, and expect any warranty claim to go through that seller rather than a walk-in store.
