Apple iOS 17 Might Come With More User-Requested Features

What those features are is anyone's guess.

Whenever Apple updates its operating system, they mainly focus on bug fixes and improving performance for users. According to a new report, though, this may change in the next round of updates.

According to a tweet by Mark Gurman, Bloomberg’s Chief Correspondent, iOS 17 is expected to check off certain things on users’ wishlists by adding some of the users’ most requested features. However, there is no specific mention of what those features might be.

From a quick scour on the Internet, though, we found that some of the most requested features by the community include sideloading apps outside of the App Store, the ability to control the volume for FaceTime and alarms, and setting multiple timers.

After Apple introduced Voice Isolation for regular calls in the latest software update, the iOS 16.4, it won’t be surprising if the next update will include more ways to improve call quality. Furthermore, with more are more AIs taking centre stage in the realm of technology, it's also possible that Siri might get an update as well.

iOS 17 is expected to be announced at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June and released in September this year.
