OPPO’s newest release is the Reno10 Pro+ 5G, which is said to be the slimmest phone on the market with a periscopic telephoto lens. As usual, OPPO’s phones excel in the camera area, especially portrait photography —- the Reno10 Pro+ is not an exception.

Design & Display
First, let’s start with the looks. Our review unit of the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G is in Glossy Purple, which, as its name suggests, gives the phone a striking, glossy exterior that mimics the look of porcelain and is fingerprint-proof, thanks to OPPO’s exclusive glow process.
The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G has a thickness of 8.26mm and only weighs 195g, making it the slimmest phone on the market that comes with a periscopic telephoto lens—more on that later.
On the front, we’ve got a custom 6.74” AMOLED screen with slightly curved edges that allow for a borderless display. The screen itself isn’t exactly superior when compared to its flagship brothers, but it’s pretty standard for its price range: HDR 10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K ultra-clear.
What we really liked about the design of this phone is that it has a curved back as well, so not only does the phone sit very nicely in the palm of your hand, but the curved sides allow your hand to wrap around the phone comfortably.
Camera & Performance
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ still runs the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It’s not the most updated processor, but it does the job well enough for your daily smartphone use, and then more.
The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G has three camera sensors: a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 112-degree angle, and the star of the show, the 64MP telephoto portrait camera with ½” sensor. OPPO opted for this combination because it allows the camera to take in more light and have a greater colour sensitivity when taking shots.
In fact, the telephoto lens has the highest megapixel count on the market and is capable of 3x optical zoom equivalent to a 71mm focal neck. The very large f2.5 aperture allows for a very nice separation between the subject and the landscape, making the subject stand out more without you having to go up close to get them.

Battery
As always with OPPO phones, we have to talk about the charging capabilities. Anyone familiar with OPPO will have heard about OPPO’s SUPERVOOC technology. In the case of the OPPO Reno10 Pro+, it supports up to 100W of charging, meaning it can give you 50% of battery life in less than 10 minutes and a full charge in less than 30 minutes!
