In a fusion of sport and style, global sports giant, PUMA, and football titans, Manchester City, have rolled out the new Manchester City Third Kit for the 2023/24 season. A jersey not just designed to be worn but to encapsulate the verve of Manchester - its vibrant life, dynamism, and spirit.
Manchester City, no strangers to pushing boundaries in football, introduces a kit that resonates with their electrifying on-pitch prowess. The jersey is an aesthetic marvel with an electric spark pattern, complemented by neon pink accents of the club crest and brand insignias. More than just fabric, it is a testament to the invigorating aura the team brings to every match.
“Manchester City’s dynamism on the pitch is legendary. With this jersey, we've endeavoured to encapsulate that energy,” expressed Marco Mueller, Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel at PUMA. “The design stands as a homage to Manchester City’s football ethos and the indomitable spirit of Manchester.”
Jack Grealish, Manchester City’s stellar player, shared his excitement about the new kit. “It’s not just a jersey, it’s a statement. Shooting the campaign in the mesmerising cityscape of Tokyo and unveiling the kit here has been a phenomenal experience. I’m eagerly looking forward to our game against Bayern Munich clad in these electrifying colours.”
In an evocative meld of football and Japanese tradition, the launch was accentuated by content captured with the players at Tokyo's iconic Kabuki Hall. The new attire had its on-pitch premiere at the Japan National Stadium against FC Bayern Munich on July 26th, 2023.
The jersey doesn’t just stop at aesthetics. It’s built for performance with dryCELL technology ensuring wearers remain sweat-free and comfortable, whether you're on the field or cheering from the stands. Echoing the global call for sustainability, the kit is crafted with 100% recycled materials (excluding trims and decorations).
The electric Manchester City Third Kit is priced at RM319 and is now up for grabs at selected PUMA outlets in KLCC, Pavilion KL, Sunway Pyramid, AEON Mall Tebrau City, AEON Mall Bandaraya Melaka, and Queensbay Mall. You can even get yours at an Al-Ikhsan and Football Republic near you.
