After its recent string of flagship gaming phone launches, ASUS ROG is reportedly gearing up to release the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series soon. Firstly reported by a tipster on Twitter and The Tech Outlook, the rumoured ASUS ROG Phone 7 series will equip the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset and include three models: ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, and ROG Phone 7D.
According to the report, The ASUS ROG Phone 7 series will be revealed in the third quarter of 2023, and the phones will be launched in the global market with model numbers AI2205_A and AI2205_E respectively. While all three models will launch in China with model number AI2205_B representing the ROG Phone 7, AI2205_D representing the ROG Phone 7D, and model number AI2205_F representing the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.

The above image shows the rumoured key specs of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series: a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, AMOLED display panels, and Android 13. A 16GB RAM and 256GB storage option will be available for the ASUS ROG Phone 7, while a 512GB storage option will be available for the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
So far, there are no official news about the ASUS ROG Phone 7 yet, but rumours suggest that it will launch in Q3 2023, following the launch pattern of the ROG Phone 6, which was launch in July last year. We're certainly looking forward to it!
