Recently at the Outpost Hotel Sentosa in Singapore, adidas APAC presents the #BeSupportedBeYou Retreat from 3 - 5 February 2023, bringing women from various sports communities on a quest to find a fresh approach to physical activity over a carefully curated 3-day programme. The event provides attendees with a wide variety of opportunities to engage their minds, bodies, and spirits.
Attended by more than 50 members of the media, Creators and adiClub members from the Asia Pacific, they were all hand-picked to participate in this first-of-its-kind experience in Singapore while more than 50 adiClub members from Singapore won slots through a contest run on @adidasSG's social media channels!
One of the goals of the adidas #BeSupportedBeYou Retreat is to help women in sports of all shapes and sizes discover their full potential and achieve their personal best through sport and in life.
Beginning with a Reset Mindset workshop on Day 1, the Retreat continued with a sunrise Mat Pilates session led by Eugena Bey, owner of local pilates studio, BE on Day 2.
Day 2 and Day 3 featured a variety of bespoke workouts and workshops, such as a Nutrition Workshop with Charlotte Mei, a HIIT session with Thai celebrity trainer BeBe, an Athleisure Styling Workshop, a Sunset Run led by the captain of Singapore's adidas runners, a Body Strength Workout with Australian trainer and entrepreneur Britt Cutts, and a Vision Boarding Workshop led by Dr. Jay-Lee Nair to wrap up the retreat.
Also during the event, Adidas took the opportunity to launch new high-performance bras and leggings from the SS23 collection designed for every body type and activity. Their latest sports clothing portfolio caters to even more workout needs across Studio, All Gym, HIIT and Running, which is tailored to overcome performance barriers.
Senior Product Manager Kim Buerger has said of the line "adidas are committed to constantly innovating and iterating their performance products to meet the needs of the community, and the problems that arise for many women when they wear poorly fitting or inadequate performance clothing are the inspiration for this line."
Activities at the retreat were planned to make the most of the cutting-edge innovations introduced with the SS23 collection, such as airflow management and a four-way-stretch material for high-intensity interval training (HIIT), complete adjustability for gym workouts, and enhanced support structures for Studio yoga sessions!
