According to rumours, it appears that Alienware might be announcing a new 500Hz IPS gaming monitor at CES 2023. Based on the leak, the "AW2524H" fast IPS monitor will have a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, a refresh rate of 480Hz with a DisplayPort connection, and the ability to overclock to 500Hz. The monitor's alleged design looks very similar to the existing Alienware monitor, the AW2523HF, with the exception of a different LED-backlit colour for the logo text.

The 25-inch Alienware AW2524H monitor is rumoured to hit the market soon, but only after the CES 2023, which is set to take place from January 5 to January 8 2023.
While most flagship monitors can only go up to a refresh rate of 360Hz, this won't be the first 500Hz display to be released on the market. During Computex 2022 back in May this year, Nvidia showed a preview of the Asus ROG Swift 500Hz that, as its name suggests, has the same insane 500Hz refresh rate. Besides that, BOE had also showcased a prototype 27-inch 1080p 500Hz monitor as early as February 2022 — but it's worth noting that neither of these are commercially available as of yet. Right now, the Alienware AW2524H monitor is the only 500Hz monitor that currently has a confirmed release.
