One of the top e-hailing players in Malaysia, the airasia Super App, has announced a full-time employment program for all drivers under airasia ride on the service’s first anniversary.
Just a month earlier, airasia had announced the same programme for airasia food and airasia xpress delivery riders. The Full-time Drivers program is an enhancement to airasia ride’s current and existing Independent Drivers program.
From 1 October 2022 onwards, eligible drivers, old and new, will be able to opt into the program which will provide up to RM3,500 in monthly base income including fuel benefits and up to RM8,000 in total earnings. Besides that, full-time drivers can also get additional employment benefits such as:
- EPF
- SOCSO
- Medical coverage including for spouses and children
- Annual leave
- Discounted staff rates for airasia flights
- Priority airport assignments
