Amazfit launched the T-Rex 2 in Malaysia today, a rugged and tough smartwatch that passed 15 military-grade tests.

To prove its strength in extreme environments, Amazfit sent the T-Rex 2 on a space journey. Taking off from Sheffield, United Kingdom, the watch was sent off on a lightweight spacecraft together with an onboard camera during the two and half hour round-trip.
The watch can remain functional in temperatures as low as -30℃ and has a battery life that can stretch to 24 days. In comparison, its predecessor could only last 20 days.
Made for any terrain, the Amazfit T-Rex 2 can continue operating under extreme temperatures. It is:
- Heat resistance of up to 70℃
- Humidity resistance of 240h
- Salt-spray resistance of 96h
- Shock resistant

- Dual-band and 5-satellite positioning
- Route-import and real-time navigation
Besides being for outdoor use, the Amazfit T-Rex 2 also makes for a great sports tracker. By using the Zepp app, users can create their training templates for 11 different sports. Additionally, the app’s operating system includes a rich ecosystem of over 10 mini-apps for seamless interactions.
The Amazfit T-Rex 2 also has a huge selection of over 150 sports modes, from more extreme sports like rock climbing to leisure sports such as golf.
Inspired by nature, the watch comes in four colours:
- Astro Black & Gold
- Ember Black
- Wild Green
- Desert Khaki
Furthermore, it comes with a HD AMOLED display that enables the wearer to download dozens of watch faces or display images unique to the wearer.
The Amazfit T-Rex 2 comes with a one-year warranty and retails at RM799. In conjunction with the launch, the watch will be available exclusively at Shopee from 6 July to 8 July. During this period, the first 100 buyers will get an Amazfit sports bottle and screen protector as gifts.
