Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung Wallet, a new platform that consolidates the ability to organize digital keys, boarding passes, identification cards, and more, into one easy-to-use secure mobile application. Protected by defence-grade security Samsung Knox, the Samsung Wallet is also integrated with Samsung Blockchain Wallet, SmartThings, Samsung Pass, and more, so you can have everything you need in your digital life in one place.
From the images provided in Samsung’s Newsroom, Samsung Wallet has a refined interface that gives users one-swipe access to their payment cards, loyalty and membership cards, and more. With the functionality of Samsung Pass, users can also store their passwords so that they can easily log into apps and services.
The Samsung Wallet will also be able to support official IDs such as mobile driver’s licences and student IDs later this year.
More than that, you’ll also be able to easily add digital home keys to conveniently lock or unlock your home, start your car engines, and store flight boarding passes in your Galaxy device with the Samsung Wallet.
The Samsung Wallet is currently available in six markets only: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the US. There is no official timeline on when it will be available in the Malaysian market.
