Nubia’s music-first budget smartphone has officially landed in the Philippines, and it’s gunning hard for audio lovers on a tight budget. The Nubia Music Pro pairs a bold, speaker-forward design with a triple full-range setup that promises 2.1-channel sound, a claimed 600% volume boost, DTS:X Ultra, and head-tracked spatial audio—features you usually don’t see at this price. It also features AI “Melody” breathing lights that pulse in sync with your tracks, as well as a tap-to-share music trick for quick peer-to-peer playback. Under the hood, you’re looking at a Unisoc T7200 octa-core chip with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, powering a 6.7-inch 120Hz HD+ display and a 5,000mAh battery via USB-C. Cameras are basic but serviceable: 50MP on the rear and 5MP up front, while MyOS 14 (Android 14) keeps things current. Colorways—Pop Art and Melody Wave—lean into the whole “party phone” aesthetic, and there’s a side fingerprint reader plus the usual connectivity list, including dual-SIM and NFC.

Why does it stand out

Compared with last year’s non-Pro Nubia Music, which kicked off the line’s “boombox phone” vibe, the Music Pro doubles down on theatrics while keeping core specs safely in the entry-level lane. You’re buying it for the big sound + flashy look and a smooth 120Hz screen, not for raw horsepower or camera wizardry. Still, as a loud, fun daily driver that won’t bust ₱4K during promos, it’s a compelling niche pick—especially if you live on TikTok and want your phone to look like it’s built for a block party.

Big sound, tiny price: Nubia says the triple full-range speaker setup delivers 2.1-channel audio and up to 600% louder volume, complete with DTS X Ultra and head-tracked spatial audio support. Visual flair comes from AI “Melody” breathing lights that sync with your music.

Platform-first launch: Availability is centred on TikTok with time-limited promos and creator-led livestreams pushing that sub-₱4K price during launch.

Price & availability

Pricing’s friendly, too. The official SRP is ₱4,299, but Nubia is pushing a ₱3,780 TikTok launch price starting August 8, 2025, with availability and promos heavily centered on TikTok Shop. That follows a digital-first rollout from August 2–7 featuring Brand Days (Aug 2–4), creator-led livestreams, and giveaways—very on-brand for a youth-targeted handset. There’s even a #MakeItLouder dance challenge running through August 28 with more than ₱200,000 in prizes, including phone bundles and vouchers, underscoring how much of this launch lives on social.
