Huawei has unveiled the MatePad 11.5-inch (2025), positioning the slate as a budget-friendly workhorse that combines a buttery-smooth 120 Hz display with marathon battery life.
Glare‑Free 120 Hz Viewing
The 11.5-inch LCDs a crisp 2456 × 1600 resolution at 120 Hz. A PaperMatte edition features a nano-etched layer that reduces reflections by up to 99%, giving the panel a paper-like feel even under harsh light.
Kirin 8020 Takes Over
Huawei swaps last year’s Snapdragon for its in‑house Kirin 8020 SoC. Coupled with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB storage, the new chip promises smoother multitasking while an enlarged graphite sheet improves cooling.
Big Battery, Bigger Sound
A 10,100 mAh battery is rated for roughly 14 hours of video playback and tops up via 40 W SuperCharge. Media gets a boost from quad Histen 9.0 speakers and dual microphones, making the tablet a solid choice for streamers, students and hybrid workers.

Running HarmonyOS 4.3, the MatePad gains floating multi‑windows, the new SuperHub drag‑and‑drop clipboard and handwriting improvements when paired with the third‑generation M‑Pencil.

Offered in Space Gray and Violet, the MatePad 11.5 (2025) starts at €290 for the 8 GB / 128 GB model, climbing to €430 for the 256 GB PaperMatte bundle with detachable keyboard. Regional launch dates will be revealed in the coming weeks.
