Sony WH-1000XM6 Headphones Now Available in the Philippines

Sony has officially launched the WH-1000XM6 noise-canceling headphones in the Philippines, setting a new benchmark in premium audio. Priced at PHP 27,999, these headphones are now available at all Sony Centres and authorized retailers nationwide in Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue.
Advanced Noise Cancellation and Sound Quality
Equipped with the new HD Noise Canceling Processor QN3, the WH-1000XM6 offers seven times faster processing than its predecessor, managing 12 microphones to deliver superior noise reduction. This system features Adaptive NC Optimizer and Auto Ambient Sound modes, which adjust to your environment and activity. Users can further customize settings via the Sony Sound Connect app.
The headphones also feature a specially designed driver unit with a high rigidity carbon fiber composite material dome and a uniquely developed voice coil structure that captures subtle details across all frequencies. Supporting High-Resolution Audio and High-Resolution Audio Wireless via LDAC technology, the WH-1000XM6 also utilizes DSEE Extreme with Edge-AI to upscale compressed digital music files in real time.
Crystal Clear Calls and Enhanced Comfort
The WH-1000XM6 introduces ultra-clear call quality through a six-microphone AI-based beamforming system that isolates your voice from background noise. The AI-optimized noise reduction algorithm ensures clear communication even in noisy environments, with convenient mute functionality available directly on the headphones.
Designed for comfort, the headphones feature a wider headband with vegan leather for pressure-free wear. The asymmetrical design helps users easily identify left and right sides, while stretchable material in the earpads provides a secure yet gentle fit for extended use.
Smart Features and Sustainability
The WH-1000XM6 includes Scene-based Listening, which automatically plays music according to your activity and adjusts noise cancellation levels based on your environment. Quick Access enables easy connectivity to popular music services including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. Other notable features include LE Audio support for ultra-low latency gaming, multi-point connectivity for seamless device switching, and the ability to listen and charge simultaneously. A quick three-minute charge provides up to three hours of playback time.
In line with Sony's commitment to sustainability, the WH-1000XM6 packaging uses 100% paper materials, including Sony’s proprietary Original Blended Material—an environmentally conscious paper made from bamboo, sugarcane fibers, and post-consumer recycled paper.
Launch Event Highlights
To celebrate the launch, Sony hosted an event at Glorietta in Makati City, featuring interactive product demonstrations and live performances by local artists including FuMi, Syd Hartha, Barbie Almalbis, and Lola Amour. Attendees also had the opportunity to personalize their headphone cases with complimentary customization options.
