This is the odd one out on purpose. It is an analog bullet camera at RM92 (checked 31 October 2026) that sends video over a cable to a recorder (DVR), so it will not work on its own with Wi-Fi or a phone app. Buy it when you are building a multi-camera wired system for a house or shop and you already have, or will buy, a recorder; for a single camera, a Wi-Fi model above is easier.

We looked at the maker’s specification pages for resolution, power and weather rating, and we prefer an official store where one exists (TP-Link and EZVIZ here). Shopee blocks automated page reads, so prices come from the Shopee affiliate feed and can move after our check. We did not buy or test any of these cameras. Lazada prices were not readable when we checked, so we only quote Shopee prices.
How to choose a home CCTV camera
Pick the power source first
Plug-in cameras never run out of power but need a socket nearby. Battery cameras such as the Tapo C425 and Reolink Argus 3 Pro go anywhere but must be recharged, and the Argus can take a solar panel. A PoE or analog camera needs a cable run, which usually means a technician.
Match the resolution to the job
1080p is enough for a room. 2K shows faces and number plates more clearly at a gate, and 4K is for wide areas such as a driveway, where you also need good Wi-Fi or a PoE cable and more storage.
Check Wi-Fi band and range
