JBL has introduced the JBL Grip, a new addition to its portable speaker lineup designed for active lifestyles, outdoor users, and anyone who wants loud, punchy audio in a compact form factor.
Despite its small size, the Grip packs 16W JBL Pro Sound, AI-powered bass optimization, Auracast multi-speaker connectivity, and complete IP68 protection — making it one of JBL’s most rugged mini speakers yet.
At RM599, it targets Malaysians who want portable sound, adventure-ready durability, and fun lighting without jumping to the size of the JBL Charge or the price of the JBL Xtreme.
With its bold JBL Pro Sound profile and a punchy 16W output, the JBL Grip is equipped with AI Sound Boost for more powerful, deeper bass without distortion. For an enhanced experience, just pair two speakers for stereo sound or connect multiple speakers with AuracastTM for sound that takes things even further.
Utilising an integrated rope hook, the JBL Grip is also easy to attach to a backpack, bike, or kayak. Rugged and ready, its IP68 water, dust, and drop proof means users can push through their adventures without worrying about their gear.
The upright design mirrors the way one moves. Even the JBL logo keeps up, stacked vertically to match Grip’s bold stance. Just grab, hang, or place anywhere you go. And to match its user's vibe, it emits a customisable ambient light on the back panel. All users need to do is dive into the JBL Portable app to adjust the colour and intensity to suit their current playlist.
Users will also be able to enjoy up to 12 hours of playtime, plus another 2 with Playtime Boost activated as the speaker optimizes and tunes the performance for a louder and crisper sound.
JBL Grip comes in 6 standout colours, from classic black & white, to purple, red, blue and squad for RM 599. It is now available at all authorised dealers, JBL's official website, Lazada and Shopee.
