realme is set to launch the GT 8 Pro this November, and it's injecting the realme UI 7.0 into it. Built on Android 16, realme has unveiled that it will be a complete visual overhaul with the aims to improve our smartphone experience, so that it'd feel more premium and fluid.
Here's an early look of the realme UI 7.0 and what to expect.

Inspired by Glass
This UI 7.0 is decked in a "Light Glass Design." Think transparency, depth, and fluidity. Basically, apps interface will be adorned with a transclucent window like a piece of glass. This design goes seamlessly with popular apps redesigned in Ice Cube Icons, complete with a Misty Glass Control Center, and even a Breathing Dock that adds subtle animations to your home screen.
A Major Upgrade on Customization
If you're the type who loves tweaking every detail of your phone, realme UI 7.0 offers great fun over it. With the new Flux Theme 2.0 it introduces large text themes for better readability, and even allow you to set panoramic views for your Always On Display. You can even customize your fingerprint unlock animation. Fancy a Live Photo or video as your wallpaper with AI-generated depth effects? You can do that too.
There are also new widgets, lockscreen styles, and resizable Flux Desktop Icons. It's clear that realme wants to give users more control over how their phone looks and feels, essentially reaffirming the true benefit of owning an Android device.

iPhone and Apple Watch Integration—Yes, Really
So this was the most interesting update for us.
According to GSMArena, the realme UI 7.0 officially supports iPhone and Apple Watch Connect. This means you can sync health data from your Apple Watch to your realme phone. Additionally, calls and messages from your iPhone will appear on realme watches.
This was an unexpected move yet highly appreciative move that puts realme ahead of its competition. Not only will this be fun for us at ProductNation who are caught up in many tech product reviews, but it's also great for tech lovers who might live in a mixed ecosystem. Whether you're switching between devices or just want better cross-platform compatibility, this feature could be genuinely useful.
AI Features To Look Forward To
It's no surprise to find that the realme UI 7.0 will incorporate its unique take on AI tools. One that users will like is the AI Notify Brief which takes non-urgent notifications and bundles them into morning and evening summaries. This is perfect if you're tired of constant pings throughout the day on non-urgent matters. It can also schedule updates and create to-do lists to help with time management.
Our favourite? There's the AI Framing Master that guides you on how to frame your shots while explaining composition principles—great for photography enthusiasts who are still on their learning curve. This soothes the famous belief of "you'll need to shoot a thousand photos before you get something decent" by supercharging through that torturous self-learning process and actually help you quickly learn how to shoot, improving your photography skills seamlessly. Similarly, there's also AI Gaming Coach to provide real-time insights and help you level up your gameplay.

Performance Boosts Under the Hood
Beyond the visual changes, realme has optimized the Flux Engine to improve overall system responsiveness by 15%, make app scrolling 29% smoother, and boost daily performance by 22%. Pair that with Seamless Animations, and you've got an interface that should feel noticeably snappier than its predecessor.
The Multi-task sidebar also offers instant access to select apps and tools without exiting your current app—handy for quick multitasking.
realme UI 7.0 looks like an interesting step towards a sleek, premium ecosystem experience by the brand. The Light Glass Design aesthetic is polished and modern, the customization options are fun, and the AI features are more practical rather than gimmicky. Most interesting win here is the iPhone and Apple Watch integration that may appeal to users juggling multiple ecosystems which, although a niche setting, but also possible as some users may have the realme GT phones as their main mobile gaming hub.
The realme UI 7.0 will come pre-installed on the GT 8 series when it launches globally this month. And if you own an older realme device, a rollout will start this month, with the GT 7 series among the first to receive it.
