Canon Malaysia has unveiled the new EOS R6 Mark III and RF45mm F1.2 STM, expanding its EOS R mirrorless lineup with an exciting balance of performance, speed, and creativity.
Designed for content creators, photographers, and visual storytellers, this new generation delivers 32.5MP clarity, 7K RAW video, and enhanced low-light capabilities — all in a compact, durable body.
The announcement also coincides with Canon’s nationwide “Drive Your Dream” campaign, which offers Malaysians a chance to win prizes worth over RM300,000, including a Tesla Model 3, Canon cameras, Apple devices, and more.
Better Quality & Speed
Building on the success of its predecessor, the EOS R6 Mark III camera offers enhanced image quality, speed, and reliability designed for creators who want to capture every moment with clarity and precision. With 32.5-megapixel resolution, finer details can be captured in higher definition but with more cropping flexibility.
The EOS R6 Mark III can also capture up to approximately 150 shots when shooting up to 40 fps in the high-speed continuous shooting (electronic shutter) mode. Despite the higher processing load, it maintains the same high-speed continuous shooting rate: up to 40 fps (electronic shutter), and up to 12 fps (mechanical/electronic first-curtain shutter).
In terms of videography, the EOS R6 Mark III offers more recording and post-production options that cater to different purpose and usage. It supports 7K 60p internal RAW video recording to a CF-express Type B card and is the first EOS R series camera to offer 3:2 Open Gate recording (up to 7K 30p RAW).
Paired with Canon’s widest-aperture non-professional lens to date; the new RF45mm F1.2 STM, users can enjoy beautifully blurred backgrounds, exceptional low-light performance and remarkable versatility in a compact and lightweight design.

The new Canon EOS R6 Mark III is available for pre-order starting today until 16 November 2025 via authorised dealers nationwide. It is priced at RM10,999 for body only, RM12,499 when bundled together with an RF24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM lens, or RM15,999 if with an RF24-105mm F4L IS USM lens.
