Ahead of its upcoming launch, HONOR has just revealed the upcoming HONOR Magic8 Pro in a private media briefing, its latest flagship, which is in part of a collaboration with Visit Malaysia 2026, underscoring HONOR's mission to empower creativity and storytelling through mobile photography.
The collaboration invites Malaysians to capture the nation’s natural beauty, cultural diversity, and culinary heritage using the Magic8 Pro.
To kick off the initiative, HONOR has launched a nationwide search for photographers to experience the Magic8 Pro firsthand. This is the perfect opportunity for photographers to test the smartphone’s camera capabilities and experience its notable 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera.
The Search for 50 HONOR Magic8 Pro Photographers
Believing in the power of visuals serving as a narrative to champion the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, HONOR is launching a nationwide search for 50 talented photographers to capture the true soul of Malaysia.
Selected participants will get the chance to put the groundbreaking HONOR Magic8 Pro to the ultimate test by capturing Malaysia's iconic landmarks, traditions and breathtaking nature. These visuals will also be showcased across HONOR's official social platforms to a global audience. Registration is open from 11 to 18 November 2025 via HONOR Malaysia website and official Facebook page.
200MP Ultra-Night Telephoto Photography Excellence
The HONOR Magic8 Pro delivers a high-resolution camera performance built around a powerful triple-camera system. This system features industry-leading 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera, a 50MP Ultra Night Main Camera with an f/1.6 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), plus a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera capturing a 122° field of view. This flagship setup ensures exceptional performance even in very low-light environments.
The 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera achieves the industry-leading CIPA 5.5-level of stabilization with OIS.
